When I first started Poetic Poppy Photography, I never dreamed it would be something as special as it is to my clients. I love seeing how much these portraits truly mean to my seniors’ families. Watching their children get ready for their last year in high school and seeing how proud they are of them, is truly heart-warming. It is a rite of passage to enter your senior year. Celebrating it through beautiful senior portraits... you deserve that. Every detail is unique and specific for every senior.

I am Monica Baker, owner and photographer of Poetic Poppy Photography. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and moved to Oklahoma nine years ago. I started Poetic Poppy Photography specializing in senior portraits. I began my journey in senior portraits knowing I wanted to make sessions memorable. I saw a need for something different in portraits- portraits that were modern, fun, and fresh. I knew that I wanted something more personal for
my clients- portraits that showcased my seniors’ style,
personalities, and accomplishments.

I take seniors from all over the area, across multiple states.
I book exclusively and one to two years in advance. That means I only
have a limited amount of availabilities each year to offer.
We want to provide the best service to our seniors and their families,
and this ensures that we do.
